I upgraded my BlackBerry to an iPhone back in early December. I have my Google calendar synched to it, and the same Google calendar is synched with my Outlook at work. I have all three personal e-mail addresses synched to it. I would like to figure out how to sync it with my work e-mail... we shall see--it's a MS Exchange account and I can't have two on the iPhone. Facebook and OKC apps installed, yup yup. Bank balance checks at the touch of a screen.

Couple of nudges from friends lately got me motivated to get my computer hooked up to the network here.

Oh yeah. Here. Y'all might want an update on that.

Well last month, I moved from my apartment in Virginia Beach to a little house in Norfolk that I'm sharing with Kevin and Vonn. I do miss the apartment a lot, but there are a few benefits to living here. One, Kevin's here. Two, I'm spending half the money on rent and utilities.

The kitties are fine. Scooter was my advance team; he moved in August. As always, he had no trouble adjusting to the new digs, and Kevin and Vonn's kitties. The rest of my kitties are slowly settling in.

My bedroom's set up, but my sitting room is still chaos. I was trying to wait on setting up my computer until I had beaten back the chaos a bit, but I've been offline too long. Occasional sessions at Kevin's computer just weren't cutting it, and the network at work is monitored (plus Facebook's blocked, more's the pity).

I think I'll be back on here a little more often. At least I'm hoping so. I do kind of need to update my computer, though.

Thanks to the patient who haven't given up on me yet.

Things go on. Time passes. I'm having a lot of fun, and much less drama than I thought.

I did convert, ages ago. I was a little mini-Southern Baptist and I became a raving Pagan. And while I don't practice the way I used to (used to be Wiccan), my core beliefs have never changed, nor do I think they could.

I think I'm just about ready to come back.

I've been through a cycle of really being "on" with my diet plan and now "off" for a while. Getting back on again.

I'm dating now. Poly relationship. Very comfortable with the situation.

Scooter is now an outdoor only kitty. After two years--has it really been two years already?--of coping with his on and off urinary problems I just couldn't handle it anymore. I can't afford to pay to refurb this apartment when I leave, so... I'm doing the best I can for him.

Thomas is actually much happier. Eva is heartbroken, but I can't help it.

Work is going well enough. We have a new campus director, and the jury is still out on him. I'm very happy in my job, though.

So, that's a brief update. I don't plan to go back to daily posts immediately, but I do believe I'll be around a bit more.
